Bottom of the font is marked.....9    62....indicating that this was made in September of 1962

Lantern has been thoroughly cleaned and tested....and it works as designed

Font holds pressure as it should...and pump mechanism works as designed

Rubber font fill cap O ring is brand new and was replaced with OEM Coleman replacement gasket

Glass globe is original....red lettering...and is pristine...no chips, no cracks....super clean

This lantern has signs of wear that are consistent with age and use...

Metal portions have some patina from age and use....

Font has a few spots where the paint has chipped off (see pics)

There is a small ding along the top curved edge of the font...it is tiny...(see pics)

Bottom edge of the font has some minor wear and minor surface corrosion that would easily clean up

When I cleaned the base of the lantern....there were a few spots where the red paint flaked off(see pics)

I would touch this up along with the 1 or 2 other spots where the bare metal is showing....I will leave that up to you

Top "hat" is in exceptional condition....the only chip to it is on one side...under the top where the bale slides in (see pics)

Comes with a brand new mantle installed on the burner assembly...

And also included is an original sealed OEM Coleman silk mantle 2 pack
