Wow! Very rare and true vintage pair of Florsheim NST Spectators in cognac with white suede vamp. Model 8S 4156. Marked size 9C. Leather soles and rubber heels. Based on the style, model number sequence, lack of a date code and footbed logo, these likely date from the 1940s or 1950s.

Outsole measures 11 7/8” long and 4 3/8” wide.

-Condition

The original soles have moderate wear but are rock solid. Moderate wear to heels with some rounding. Uppers are in good condition with wear visible upon close inspection - see photos. Beautiful marbled patina! Some discoloration visible on white portions (vamp) upon close inspection. Some missing padding/fur on the underside of the tongue on the right shoe. Insoles have minor wear with some minor surface cracking. Footbeds in good condition with logos faded. Brand new 27” vintage laces.

Shoes have been restored and conditioned using Saphir products.
