Vintage Peavey Companion 15 Portable Battery or AC Adapter Powered Amp, This amp works great and would be fun for traveling or playing anywhere without electricity, I acquired this amp with some other equipment and do not need it. The owner told me he recently had a new battery box installed, This uses 8 D size batteries (Not Included) or the included 12v adapter which is not the original.I did test it with batteries and it worked well, the only minor issue was the batteries were held a bit snug and you just have to make sure you push them to the positive end to make a good connection, The spring wasn't quite strong enough but being a new plastic holder it may loosen up with time. There is some paint loss by the on the bottom of the battery cover plate, the tolex on the bottom could use some glue and there is some light rust on the metal corners. You should be able to see this in the pictures. The amp sounds real good and everything was working as should with no scratchy sounding controls.
