This auction is offering a wonderful large hand made modernist sterling silver bowl by Italian-American Silversmith Alfredo Sciarrotta. Bowl is a leaf design hand wrought center bowl with a stylized foot. Signed Sciarrotta, Hand Made, Sterling, 33 S. Bowl measures approx. 6-1/2" tall & 9" x 11" width.
Gram weighs is 678.1 grams & 21.8 troy ounces.

Sciarrotta's design skills were noticed by Cartier, Gorham, Shreve, Crump & Low, Gump's, and Bailey, Banks, & Biddle, and they soon began commissioning special orders from him. Born: May 25, 1907, Died May 28, 1985
