1950's Black Rotary Desk Phone Kellogg Dial Telephone C/D 500 6/53 Bakelite Handset.

Estate sale find. Also known as the banjo phone because of the shape of the handset. Metal Dial, not plastic. Wall cord has been replaced with newer cord.  No cracks or chips or breaks, normal scuffs and wear, phone looks very nice. For decor, prop or collection. Unable to test.

This style of phone is the one I remember while growing up. The sounds, the look, the feel, all bring back memories. Trying to hold the phone to your ear with your shoulder while working with your hands.

Weight is 4 lb 14 oz before packaging.
