Two elegant black miniature jugs and urn shaped vase.  The matt finish of the glaze, combined with the classical form, evokes the beauty of pottery from Ancient Greece and Rome.

The simplicity of the design complements any décor.

Each jug measures 11 cm in height, with a length of 7.25 cm from spout to handle.  Each jug has a diameter of 4.75 cm at the base and 8 cm at the widest point.  It is imprinted with “J 26” – indicating the number of the style/design.  They have the “Australian Made” sticker used in the 1960s.  They are not marked with the imprint of Diana Pottery, which is probably due to the small size of the base.

The vase measures 10.5 cm in height, 9 cm in diameter at the rim, and 6x6 cm at the base.  It is impressed on the base with “V160”.   Indicating the style (V=Vase) and design number (160)

Diana Pottery operated from 1941-1966 in Marrickville, NSW, and was a major ceramics manufacturer during this period.

They are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
