Lot of 7 Outdoor Life Magazines 1913 - 1917 Cover Art Ellsworth Bartlett Mayer

  • September 1913 Vol 32 No 3  - both covers lightly soiled. There is a blue line on the cover from the bottom left edge that runs about 7" up the page. I believe it is not damage, but a printing error.   1" tear at bottom of the spine. Covers were cut too large so creases and small tears along bottom and right edges on front, left and bottom edges on back. Crease on upper left corner of back page. No damage to inside pages.
  • July 1914 Vol 34 No 1 Cover art by L. Magargee - both covers lightly soiled. Paper loss on very bottom of  spine.  Creases on front cover. White scratch through cover subject's head.   Covers were cut too large so creases and small tears along bottom and right edges on front, left and bottom edges on back.    No damage to inside pages.
  • August 1915 Vol 36 No 2  - both covers lightly soiled.   Covers were cut too large so creases and some 1/8"  tears along top, bottom and right edges on front, top, left and bottom edges on back. No damage to inside pages.
  • September 1917 Vol 40 No 3 Cover art by Osborne Mayer - both covers lightly soiled. Paper loss on spine.  Covers were cut too large so creases and some tears along top, bottom and right edges on front, top, left and bottom edges on back.The front cover has a 1/4" piece of paper missing at the bottom left edge, and is missing the bottom right corner. The back cover has a light stain on the bottom left, as do the last several pages. No damage to inside pages except as described.

Each of these magazines measures 7" by 9 1/2". Each has a table of contents, B & W photographs and drawings, and many pages of fantastic antique advertisements.
