Bachmann 41-666 ‘Centennial’ 16-wheeled Diesel Loco Union Pacific No. 6922 - HO

Absolutely stunning Bachmann USA replica of the legendary 6,600hp EMD DDA40X / DD40X ‘Centennial’ locomotive built for the Union Pacific Railroad between 1969 and 1973. These were the most powerful diesel locomotives ever built and have an absolutely superb presence.

Comes in original box (Bachmann had to basically join two normal boxes together due to the extreme length of this loco). Also includes non-digital sound function via plug-in box as shown in photos. This appears unused but has not been tested. Also features flashing light above cab.

Loco has been track tested and is in full working order. Please note that due to its length it will not operate optimally on tighter radius curves.

Not a huge number of these come up for sale, even less so in this condition. A loco with a true wow factor for any US railroad modeller.
