Turned from a salvaged piece of rare and beautiful Pacific Yew wood. This is a dry vase, some people call them weed pots.

Just under 5 inches tall. This one has a 1/2 inch diameter hole drilled into it, and isn't hollowed out.

Weighs 8 ounces.

There's a few small cracks that I filled with sawdust and epoxy. 

 

  Finished with 2 coats satin polyurethane for a nice soft shine and lasting protection.

Initialed & dated on bottom of piece.

All of my Yew wood pieces are made from salvaged dead wood.  Sustainably sourced from fire and storm killed trees.
