Pair of vintage or antique Chinese ceramic foo dog/lion figurines with primarily yellow, brown and green glaze with some red and pink glaze. One has a raised cartouche type mark on the base that is hard to read so I was not able to identify the maker/age, although they may date to the nineteenth century based on other listings I looked at. They are approximately 7 inches tall and 7 inches wide/long. They are in reasonably good condition but they do have various chips/damages although they do not stand out. There is overall crazing and some staining which may be from age or may be an intentional crackle effect. Please see all photographs for the condition. One has a brown nose and open mouth with sharp teeth/fangs, the other has a closed mouth with pink nose, Both have a buck tooth look ;D
