Beautiful and quite possibly unique survivor.

Genuine early 1900's London street sign.

City of Westminster,  Buckingham Gate in the vicinity of Buckingham Palace.

Mostly intact Oak mounting frame (missing both ends ) even retaining some of original screws and wooden plugs that would have secured this marvellous sign to the wall.

A skilled craftsman or restorer should be able to replicate the missing ends.

Wonderful patina and for a sign probably in excess of 100 years old would make a stunning centre piece for any room or collection.

Not to be confused with 60s enamel versions more commonly found.

33 inches by 10 inches.
