This is a beautiful original painting done on velvet from
the mid century, dating to circa 1958. The artwork
is an excellent example of the craft and uses black
velvet to wonderful effect portraying a hidden glen.
Sparkling blue waters cast magical reflections
on this hidden idyll.

Frame shows age wear. Painting in very fine condition.
The artist was definitely talented and mastered his craft.
A wonderful artwork with mid century panache!
