A large 19th century cast iron fire surround in the manner of coalbrookdale. The fire surround is finely cast and decorated with acanthus leaves, egg and dart mouldings, swags and dentil mouldings and fluted side columns. There are various areas on the back with numbers cast and initials TT. The surround comes in four sections which all bolt together, there is one very small crack in the casting to the bottom right side column "pictured".
overall the fire surround is in excellent condition for its age and would look superb fitted back into a period or contemporary home.
