A striking shade or vivid red with slight orange undertone to it. Some photos make it look too muted, while others make it seem quite neon, it is neither, it’s just standard bright orange Red colour.

I marked the size as medium, I’d say it’s around size 10, but please do review the photos taken against a tape measure and compare the measurements with your own items to work out how it will fit you.

I purchased it in my favourite vintage store in London, it still has their tag attached as I never wore it. Vibrant colours don’t suit me unfortunately, and although I’ve tried to liven up my wardrobe a little, I feel best in shades of grey and blue. But if you’re more adventurous than me - go for it!

As it is a vintage item I don’t know it’s history, but the outer fabric is made of 100% wool and has no flaws. It’s a bit coarse to the touch and doesn’t have any sheen. The lining has slight marks around the armpits, but obviously those aren’t visible when the item is worn. I provided photos of those for you. The label is a bit distressed too. If it wasn’t for those slight faults the item remains in great shape. I love vintage style - but definitely not vintage condition. I like my clothes sleek and tidy looking.

If you know it’s your colour then it looks amazing with neutrals, especially black trousers and white tops. But as the shade has slight orange undertone, it can also be paired with shades of beige, or even camel. A really versatile little gem it is!
