A Rare Original, HUDSON Motor company. Hood Ornament or Car Mascot. The Car mascot of a speed Nymph is in original finish and was used by the Hudson Motor Company from aroun1928 to 1934 in a number of different formats of this sculpture. This outstanding example has been display mounted on a solid polished hardwood base. Very few of these early examples have survived. The Solid Metal mascot weighs 380 Grams and with its display stand 645 Grams.
The Hudson Motor Company was later absorbed into the Nash car Company.
