Up for auction is the double rivet "8 point" suspension that was called the RK4.  The "Double Rivet" in these early versions demanded more than the standard 6 point suspension.  The helmet is orange with "painted" white and brown stripes.  No vinyl here.   As most of all helmet collectors know by now, two decades ago and after 30 long years, Helmethut brought the RT, RK4, RK2, TK5 and TK2 suspension helmets back to the market place.  If you have a reproduction RK of any type, it was made right here.  And what you folks have turned them into over these years is unbelievable and most times stunning!  So now here comes the reproduction HUSKY!  Why did it take so long?  Hey, we've been busy.  So let's answer the questions that most of you have....  And some have asked a few more questions we have added, keep checking our ads as we will update these great questions we didn't think of.

1) Yes they are made of a right side and a left side just like the originals.
2) Yes we did (rear heat stamp Riddell / Kra-lite)  for Riddell when the NFL line came out 20 years ago, but we will NOT and can NOT stamp the new Husky.
3) Yes these will only come with the single chin strap hole as they did back in the day, mask was added later.  It will not come with factory two bar drilled holes as the normal RK's did.
We manufacture over 100 antique masks, almost all will fit but ask us.
4) Yes we are working on the two center riveted version 1.5" HUSKY and it won't take two decades. (No more work, it's here!)
5) It is highly unlikely we will ever bring back the 2" HUSKY.  It simply was not worn by many and even more complicated. (We think we are lying about this one, stay tuned!)
6) These are not for game use or to be put on your head in any fashion, for any purpose or for any league, but we can change the upper size "stamp" on the suspension.  Don't put these things on...  set them on the shelf, step away and enjoy the view!
7) No we will not make unlicensed teams of any league, don't ask for any logos.
8)
Many colors and striping to choose from and font numbers, thousands of color combinations with stripes, #'s and masks.
9)
This auction is for the model you see in the photos. It might not be the exact helmet but 100% like it with mask and number
10) The helmet over all is the correct width, not just the center ridge. We have many originals.
11) Yes!!! different ventilation hole patterns were used during the Husky era, we can do them all, for special builds!  32, 6 and 4 hole versions.

A couple of other sample Husky's thrown in the photos for viewing and concept ideas.  (not for this auction, check other auctions)

When these helmets came out in the 1950s - 1969, Riddell simply called them "SPECIAL" and even stamped them as such, they got that right for sure!  Though it was our late partner (Jim Parker) that coined the phrase "HUSKY".  It would tickle him to death (bad choice of words) to know it's here.  "it finally happened".

Enjoy the photos and ask any questions you like.
