RARE ANTIQUE SLEIGH with WOOL BLANKET push or pull for USE or HOLIDAY DECOR. Truly a one of a kind antique find. This sleigh measures about 42 inches in length, 20 inches in width and 29 inches tall at the handle. It is very old and might even be as early as from the 1800's. I bought it from an importer of European antiques many years ago. Now that I am downsizing I have to part with it after using it as a Holiday Decor for many years. As you can see in the pictures the back and the sides are upholstered and are in very good condition. The stuffing is horse hair fiber. There is a crack in the floor board in front of the seat which you can also see in the pictures. The runners are made out of steel. The original leather strap is still attached but the buckle end is broken, see picture. Green paint on the sides appears to be original. Overall the sleigh is in good antique condition. I am including a great woolen buggy/sleigh blanket with a stunning Peacock pattern measuring 60 X 47 inches. As you can see it is well worn and has a patch.  Do not know if the "Chase" label is original or an after thought. I bought it this way.
