Hi all this is a reluctant sale of my 1979 t2 superviking, the lack of time to use it and moving house necessitates the sale. The last time it was out was June 2022, on an almost 500mile round trip to Glastonbury festival and it did great. I have just taken it for a 30 min run and it still drives fine.

This will make a great camper for somone to use.

I have owned it since 2017, since then I have rebuilt the engine upgrading to 1641cc pistons and barrels twin port medium lift cam, new starter, alternator and shiny bits. new pop top roof. Diesel heater with tank in the bottom of the cupboard which keeps the van really warm on nights. New shock disks and pads in 2022 and probable lots more I have forgotten to mention. 

The bad bits, the body work is the obvious one. The rust is starting to show through, with the sliding door probably being the worst area affected. The fuel gauge has been intermittently working for the last 4 years. There is a hatch to get to the sender but I have just used the mileage to track fuel. When I started to give it a run the starter turned first time but sometimes this can take a few turns of the key to get it working. I assume this is just because it's not been used in a long time.
