A pair of British rank badges for a Major, or coupled with the star - like pips, a Lt. Co. o5r Col. These are King's crowns, made of brass, with red velvet backing to be visible through the openings in the crown, so originally intended for a dress uniform. They each have two lugs, and one has its original small cotter pin. They are each 3/4 of an inch tall. These are very well made.
