FIRE ENGINE COMPANY 47 FIREMAN MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS NEW YORK CITY REAL PHOTO This is a really nice four real photographic image printed on real photographic paper picturing eleven uniformed firemen seated and posed for the camera. The caption at the base of the image in ink made by the sender says One Platoon Of Engine Company 47 NYFD (New York Fire Department). If you do your research you will find that Engine Company 47 was located in the Morningside Heights section of the Upper Westside of Manhattan at West 113th Street and Amsterdam Avenue New York City. The condition is overall excellent and crisp without any creases bends tears or rips with just one tiny speck of emulsion loss at the lower right corner. The reverse side is postally unused and having a divided back. It has an AZO stamp box with all four arrows pointing up. Although the card was not mailed the sender addressed it the message bears the date of April 6th 1910. A great addition to any Fire House , Fire Truck , Firemen , Fireman , Fire Engine , Transportation , Morningside Heights , Upper Westside Manhattan , Real Photo , RPPC , Photography or New York City collection.
