These are great for old timers engines, for visual on display engines, or for flying. As for flying with the vintage engines, I would NEVER fly with a composite or nylon prop in fear of that slightly nose in or hard nose in accidental landing where I envision many crankshafts being bent! I would rather have to replace a $5 prop than to have to try to find, acquire, and disassemble and replace and reassemble a vintage engine. Especially if it's a rarer engine that's hard to find parts for!
