This listing is for EMPTY Lionel Postwar boxes, there are no trains, track, switches etc. included. 

ORIGINAL LIONEL EMPTY 1597S SET BOX is in P-5+ GOOD+ Condition. The empty box is for Set 1597S from 1958.  The box is approximately 13 inches x 13 inches x 6 ½ inches. The O27 1597S set consisted of the following items: 2018 Steam Locomotive, 1130T Tender, 6014 Bosco Boxcar, 6818 Flatcar w/Transformer, 6476 Lehigh Valley Hopper, 6025 Gulf Tank Car, 6112 Gondola w/3 Canisters, 6017 Caboose, track and 45-watt transformer. The box is completely intact with no repair. The box is showing its age.  There is some soiling and some writing on the top and flaps. The lettering is clear.  There are no stains or other marks on the box. The interior of the box is clean.  

The LIONEL EMPTY 3927 TRACK CLEANING CAR ORIGINAL BOX is in P-5+ GOOD+ Condition.  The end, tuck and all side flaps are intact with no repair.  There is a small hole in one side. There is a crease in one end flap.  The box has some soiling and color loss from age.  There are no inserts. 

The LIONEL EMPTY 151 SEMAPHORE OPS ORIGINAL BOX is in P-6 VERY GOOD Condition.  The end, tuck and all side flaps are intact with no repair.  The box has minor soiling, color loss and small tears.  The box has its INSERT which is in P-7 EXCELLENT Condition with no marks or stains. 

The LIONEL EMPTY 6472 REFRIGERATOR CAR ORIGINAL BOX is in P-5+ GOOD+ Condition.  The end, tuck, all side flaps and both coupler flaps are intact with no repair (one coupler flap has a tear).  There are a couple of small creases and dings. The box has some soiling and color loss from age.  

The LIONEL EMPTY 1122 REMOTE CONTROL O27 SWITCHES BOX is in P-6- VERY GOOD- Condition and intact.  The tuck, top and both side flaps are intact with no repair.  The box has some writing and marks on the top but otherwise minimal soiling or marks. The inside of the box is clean. 

The LIONEL EMPTY UCS REMOTE CONTROL TRACK ORIGINAL BOX is in P-6 VERY GOOD Condition.  The end, tuck and all side flaps are intact with no repair.  The box has minor soiling, and color loss. 

The LIONEL EMPTY 1689W TENDER ORIGINAL BOX is in P-5 GOOD Condition.  Both coupler flaps and one side flap are missing.  The remaining sides flaps, tuck and end flaps are intact with no repair; there is a tear in one end flap.   There are multiple black marks and dings over the box. The colors and letters are strong.   

The LIONEL EMPTY 6417 CABOOSE ORIGINAL BOX is in P5- GOOD- Condition.  One end has a missing coupler flap which tore away part of the box when removed.  The side flaps, tuck and end flaps on that end are intact with a tear at the joint.  On the other end all flaps, to include the coupler flap are intact with no repair. There are a couple of small creases and dings, and the box has soiling and color loss from age.

P-8 Like New: Complete and all original.  Evidence of light use and aging, additional notations since leaving publisher or manufacturer.  Contents of box may be missing. P-7 Excellent:  Complete and all original. Handling indentations, minute edge wear, small creases. P-6 Very Good:  Complete and all original. Minor abrasions, creases and/or folds.  Small tears, slight color changes, minor soiling.  Box may have inner liner/s missing. NOTE: Any box or paper that has been repaired can be graded no higher than P-5 (Good) P-5 Good:  Items show substantial wear.  Moderate abrasions, creases and/or folds; moderate tears and losses.  Moderate color changes, staples may be rusty or replaced. May have been repaired with archival tissue and adhesive.  P-4 Fair: Heavy damage but generally legible.  May or may not have been repaired.  Paper may be brittle.  Boxes may have inner flaps missing. P-3 Poor:  Incomplete, may be very brittle, significant deterioration.  Extensive amateur repairs.  (Scotch tape or equivalent
