Male Figurative Queer Art 16" x 16"

Forever fascinated by beauty ideals and dissecting the concept of masculinity, here I have my Skull Boy stencils clad only in underwear, striking a punchy pose.

The background was painted in multi toned warm grey/cream acrylic washes over distressed text and the figurative stencils were sprayed in pink, purple, and black. Painted on a 16" x 16" canvas with the hanging hardware attached, they're ready to be well hung.

*Full disclosure, there are very slight indentations in the canvas where the underwear is. They're barely noticeable, and didn't bother me at all, I just wanted to note it. You can see them when the light hits in the video.
