I’ve had several of these, but this is the best. Not sure why the top is twisted but this was intended. My wife and I disagree on the color, but you’ll notice the bottom, which fits with 17th century bottles. I believe bottles such as this were filled with flammable liquids, a rag lighted and thrown on board enemy vessels. The damage must have been severe. Very rare to have survived! The bottle is about 9” tall and at its widest point, 6” wide. Remarkable example - couldn’t be used for liquor. Intended use was for fire and destruction.
