This is another excellent tin toy from a long time collector.

He only collected the best.

This is the 1960's Vertical Liner Airplane  made by Yonezawa of Japan back in 1960's. Made for Sears as an exclusive Christmas toy.

It is complete and working.

Tested with  D cell batteries and all actions work strong. When turned on, airplane rotor and props begin to turn . Then it moves forward with red flashing cabin light. It then powers down and stops with landing gear extending. Next it powers back up with landing gear retracting. Actions repeat.

Body, wings, cabin plastic window with hairline crack as seen, etc. are in very good condition. Great paint and litho. No rust. Small shallow dent on one wing tip (note pic).

Rotor is a replacement.

Original factory paint and litho excellent.

Tires excellent.

Front landing gear wheel turns to control direction.

Comes with its reproduction box in excellent condition.

Very rare.
