Handsome Veronese Design Statue of Atlas, Greek Titan, Holding the World. Measures 9" tall. Made of cold cast resin and bronze. Depicts Atlas, a Titan condemned to hold up the heavens for eternity, and the god of strength and endurance. He is holding up the celestial sphere. A dial around the sphere depicts the signs of the zodiac. Warm antique bronze finish. Felt lined bottom. Quite heavy. Marked at the lower rear bottom, "©2014 Veronese ®". Excellent condition. No chips, no cracks, no scratches. No repairs. The color of the finish is very nice and consistent throughout. The felt on the bottom is slightly soiled. ALL bright white dots / smudges / lines / areas of glare in my photos are reflections from lighting. A delightful addition to your collection!
