Black Freshwater Coin Pearl ring with a round main pearl and a smaller pearl on each side.

I posted several different shades of pearl from black black to blue or silver black. You are welcome to indicate which you like best for your ring.

This photo is a stock photo. Freshwater Pearls are organic and therefore can vary slightly one from another. For the most part on the round pearls it is difficult to tell them apart, only an occasional slight color variation can exist. More noticeable variations are found in the stick pearls and some coin pearls, each having its own “Personality”. It is just this feature that I find makes pearls so fascinating. I do everything in my power to replicate the stock photo Pearl. In the case of the more “designer pearls” I can send a photo to the buyer with four pearls to select from and will make the ring from their choice, just let me know that you wish me to do this, other wise I will use my judgment.

I understand the difficulty in selecting jewelry online from a photo, especially coming from a direct sales jewelry booth where you would able to try on the jewelry item, so if you do not like what you receive I do allow returns though eBay has me as a “no returns” seller. I want you to love your purchase!

I have been a wire worker for over thirty years and after closing my shop of twenty five years I am selling my work online.

These pearl and gemstone rings have been a customer favorite for all the years I have been working wire.

I work in two metals only, 14k Goldfill and sterling silver. Please refer to listing to see which one you are looking at.

14k gold fill is NOT plated which only requires 5 microns of gold, there is basically no gold in gold plate. Gold fill on the other hand must be 1/20th 14k gold. it is bonded to a core metal (no nickel) and wears for years and years. If you can wear 14k gold, you can wear 14k gold fill. Unlike Sterling, it does not oxidize so stays bright gold.

Since Sterling is a combination of fine silver and copper (.925), and copper is a dark metal that allows silver to oxidize and turn dark, I use Argentium Silver, still .925 but the copper is substituted with Argentium which is a white metal and oxidizes more slowly and lighter. It costs me a bit more but saves so much polishing time!

I use a 21 gauge wire that is strong and lasts for many years even with mild abuse. The wire goes thru the pearls so no chance for them to fall out.

Customers tell me these rings are very comfortable to wear because the wire shank fits nicely into the groove of the finger to make it feel almost like you are not wearing a ring.
