VINTAGE 1950s MELE 3-TIER JEWELRY BOX VELVET INTERIOR GOLD GILDED Burgundy USA.

From the 1960s, a vintage dark burgundy color jewelry box from MELE. The top has an embossed design around the perimeter which also repeats around the sides, back and front.

When you open the lid, the bottom drawer automatically ejects / opens. When you close the lid, the bottom drawer automatically retracts.

The top tier has 9 divided compartments. The one below it has 5 compartments in the drawer. Bottom drawer is divided into three bigger compartments. Interior is lined in a beige flocked fabric which is showing some random discolorations. Interior of lid has a mirror.

Condition: Exterior shows some random marks from use and there is random soiling in some of the interior compartments. Top shows some wrinkling as do the side lower edges.

Sturdy, decorative box for your trinkets and jewelry.
