Up for winning is a beautiful, preowned Truesports pit shirt by Exquisite Designs (Size LARGE)...

Open wheel racing isn't my specialty, but my initial research indicates that this Truesports pit shirt coincides with driver Bobby Rahal's tenure with the team in the 80s (and maybe Scott Pruett's tenure with the team beginning in 1989 as well).

Truesports secured Budweiser sponsorship in 1985, so this shirt is from some point after that. Bobby Rahal won the Indy 500 in 1986, so this shirt could have been at Indy in 1986 or subsequent years.

The shirt has some wear and tear. I wonder if it was race used by a Truesports crew member; I'm trying to find the identity of the "KN" initials that are monogrammed on the lapels.

I've photographed as many blemishes as I could next to dimes for scale:

There's some ripping on the back side, on the left and right of the Budweiser sponsorship.

There are long threads on various embroidered sponsorship logos and at different edges and points on the shirt.

Don't let the blemishes deter you; if this pit shirt is what I think it is...you'll be getting the equivalent of a game used jersey.

I will continue to research the history of this shirt, and will update the listing if I learn anything more.

This would be a fine pickup for any Truesports and/or Bobby Rahal fan, or open wheel racing fans in general...
