A large semi-circular trough by Delamere Classic Art Ware. Lovely gumleaves and gumnuts on twigs surround the front of the trough, applied over sgraffitoed cross-hatching. The interior is a glazed in a delightful turquoise. Incised on the base: Delamere Art. Delamere pottery was in production between 1945 and 1960, it was operated by the Johnson family.

Size: 9cm high, 29 x 14.5 cm; net weight 1Kg.

Condition: generally good vintage condition, but damage to 2 leaves on the left cluster, and a small crack – rear top right – near the nuts; some crazing on the inside base. No further issues, a consistent sound when tapped. Minimal age-related crazing.
