So, the metal frame shows rust, but the hammock and pillow are brand new clean. The only spots I found are in the fringe, where it possibly came in contact with the rusty frame. This is easy to assemble. The chains and hooks have already been attached.  The overall length is 85" (7ft.). The fabric hammock is 65" x 36". It is sturdy and ready to enjoy! And of course, it doesn't go back in the box perfectly!
