The book is published by Ward, Lock and Co Ltd, London. undated but research indicates 1930 / 1940 1st edition thus.

The books cover is grey cloth boards with black title writing to spine and front cover. Other than a small mark on the back and front the cover is in good condition. There is some light / minor rubbing to the corners. The hinges, inner boards and endpapers are in good order. With unclipped dust jacket. The dust jacket has some rubbing to the edges, small nicks to the top and bottom of the spine of the jacket and a few small tears at the crease line. Otherwise the dust jacket is in good condition. The inner boards and endpapers are also illustrated. The book has 332 pages. All the pages and the coloured plates are in nice clean condition. The binding is tight and square.
