I am not knowledgeable about this item!!! The battery area is clear- when batteries put in this item vibrates and the red light comes on. Seems to be working. The part in question- there's a piece of glass inside that moves around.  Im not sure if it's supposed to move around.  I have no prior knowledge and the item is AS-IS.
