  This beautiful painting was purchased direct from the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity also photo's of Karen with her finished piece and signing the back of the painting.

  Karen Bird is the daughter of well known artist Lindsay Bird, a senior elder for llkawerne country.

  One of Karen's main dreamtime stories is of the Alpar, (Rat-Tail Plant) seed story. The women would collect this seed and crush it and use it in making damper (bread).

  Karen Bird's artworks have been in many exhibitions and collections. She is sought after by many galleries and collectors worldwide.
