The Guide book is filled with historical information of Sacramento and the nearby area PRE 1939 .

There are a few penciled notes with suggested minor changes by an Editor.

This particular copy has TWO EXTRA GREETING PAGES: One page is Hand signed by MAYOR TOM B. MONK and CITY MANAGER JAS. S. DEAN and the other is Hand signed by the CONVENTION BUREAU MANAGER ROY CLAIR.

These extra pages were NOT in the final copies of the Guide.

ATTACHED INSIDE THE BACK COVER OF THE GUIDE BOOK is a wonderful FOLD OUT - FULL COLOR MAP MEASURING 15" X 22".  The Map is of Northern California and drawn by CARTOGRAPHER NEWTON PRATT.

The map celebrates many historical events and places in the Northern part of California Pre WWII.

No creases, tears and some very slight aging on the page edges.
