Description

For auction is this beautiful 1918 Two Dollar Federal Reserve Bank Note. This very cool note is Fr.760 from the Richmond District. In our opinion this super rare note is Almost Uncirculated. It is super crisp with no rips, tears or pinholes. It features razor sharp edges, full even margins and excellent color. There are only 29 known notes for this series. These large size notes were used by individual states with permission from the Federal Reserve during the depression of the early 1930s. It was believed that individual states would print only what was needed and could keep track of banks more directly. They were only printed for a couple of years. So look at our large size scans and add this gorgeous battleship to your currency portfolio!!
