The obverse depicts, portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-sen (孫中山) at the left, Bankof China (中國銀行) at the top-center, Ten Yuan (拾圓) at the middle-center and printed in 29^th year of the Republicof China (中華民國二十九年) at the lower-center.Serial No. W726127A one in the right and one in the left and AmericanBank Note Company (美國鈔票公司) at the bottom in Chinese.  Four denominations marked incorners of design, they all in traditional Chinese - Ten (拾).

Thereverse depicts Temple of Heaven (天壇) at the right, Bank of China at the top-center, Serial No. W726127A, Ten Yuan (10) at the middle-center and year 1940 at thelower-center. American Bank Note Company at the bottom. Fourdenominations marked in corners of design, they all in Arabic numerals (10).
