A rare 1st Ed. copy of this work on the biblical books of Daniel & The Apocalypse of St. John. The only work on prophecy by Isaac Newton.
A good, solid and sound copy with wide margins. Minor intermittent marginal water marking in the odd places. Final three leaves with some heavier staining to the margins mainly. A handful of leaves at the close with a very small patch of marginal worming.
Overall a nice copy of this scarce work presented in an attractive restored period binding.
Copies are rare on the market with only one other copy located for sale online (without a contemporary binding) currently priced at £6000.
Bound in full contemporary leather binding with gilt border to the front and rear boards.
Finely re-backed in a matching period style with raised bands, gilt lines and a calf label, lettered in gilt.
A solid and rather attractive restored period binding.
