Retro 18k Gold Honeycomb Flexible-Link Bracelet by Ranzan Romeo, Italian circa 1960s

A SUBSTANTIAL 18 KARAT GOLD RETRO HONEYCOMB FLEXIBLE-LINK BRACELET

Designed by Ranzan Romeo, Vincenza, Italy circa 1960s

Item # 111KBJ03E

An exquisite Retro period honeycomb flexible-link bracelet executed entirely in 18 karat yellow gold with a light rose wash, it was designed and made by Ranzan & Romeo of Vincenza, Italy in the 1960s with their Italian assay markings on the underside along with the gold hallmarking. The distinctly modernist taste is evident in the chaotic texture of the faceted honeycomb links, each with a high-polish three-leaf motif on the top. The bracelet locks together very securely with a firm sprung-tongue operated with a broad push-button that locks into a box-clasp with a cupid's bow scalloped edge. It is further secured by two wire clasps. Incredibly eye-catching, the variety of angles and surface finishes reflect light and make it a true show-stopper.
