This is the official version of The X Files (1998) game that was produced by the show’s creator and producer, Chris Carter. It comes on 7 CDs. The game is new, never used, in the original big box edition packaging. It includes a very helpful separate player guide.
This is a vintage game from 1998 that ran on both Windows 95/98 and Mac. This would have placed it in the PowerPC realm with Mac OS 7.1 and usable through OS version 9. Early versions of OS X provided a translator to run OS 9 software. Please do your research as to the vintage Mac or PC that you plan to use. This will not likely run on modern day MacOS. It may or may not run on Windows 10/11.
This game was created back in the time before CGI characters became the norm. Real actors were used to film a virtual movie. The cast includes the actual stars from the TV series: David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi, and other regular cast members. It features all orignal footage shot on location from a story created by Chris Carter.

As FBI field agent Craig Willmore, you have been assigned to assist Special Agebts Fox Nulder and Dana Scully in their latest investigation into paranormal activity. Follow a trail of elusive clues, sift through evidence at crime scenes, use a wide range of standard issue FBI equipment and special tools, conduct interview with witnbesses and suspects, and make critical decisions to solve an X-Files case.
