A lovely George VI silver gilt Coronation souvenir spoon, made by the silversmiths Edward Barnard & Sons. It is English sterling silver hallmarked for London 1936, and was made to commemorate the Coronation of King George VI in 1937. The bowl is engraved 'G VI E' with a crown. The reverse is engraved 'Corporation of London, May 1937.' The spoon is 11.5cm long and weighs 18.3g. 

 

Condition: The spoon is in good condition, no dings, splits or repairs. Gilding good. Please see full description and photos.
