This is an attractive mid-grade copy of Avengers #38 (Marvel, 1966). In this issue, the Avengers meet Hercules. Black Widow appears in her original costume. The Enchantress also appears.
The cover is detached at the bottom staple and there is a 1.5" split at the bottom of the spine. The top staple is holding on tight, but I handle it with care. There is a 1/4" chip on the back cover at the top of the spine. There are some small chips and small tears on the bottom left corner of the back cover. There is light chipping on the top of the cover. There are some bends on the spine and a few corners. The colors are exceptionally vibrant, and there is a lot of cover gloss. There is tanning on white areas of the cover. The interior pages are complete with no tears or cutouts.
