Barber-Greene vertical bucket loader,  made in 1949, by Doepke Model Toys of Cincinnatti, Ohio.

See pics closely, as they are an important part of the description.

This item has some rust.  Labels are in good condition, for their age. The bucket conveyor, auger, and all moving parts via the chain drive operated by the hand crank work fine, (I think there may be missing a piece of chain, on the side with the crank.) The track pads are all metal, not plastic or rubber.

The toy is 18 inches high and weighs 5 lbs 11 oz.  (With shipping box and packaging, shipping weight will be approx. 7 lbs.)

The item has had plenty of use. It is in ok shape. Clean, but a few paint chips, scratches, decals have a little damaged. It was played with.

This one is in original condition, not restored, yet. I did not see any significant damage, dents, twisted or missing parts. Just some rusty spots.

This is a great piece of 1949 nostalgia. It could use a little TLC, if you want to make it pristine. If not, it's a nice toy to display

NOTE: I am listing this item for a friend. I am not an expert on this type of item! See pics closely and ask any questions prior to bidding! Check back often, as I will be listing many other items from a very knowledgeable  collector/dealer.
