This is such a lovely bag!! The leather is soft and heavy. It is USED and has some stains but the quality of the piece far outweighs the fact that it has use. It will wear for years! The front is one big piece of beautiful leather that snaps to 2 straps that keep the flap down. The flap opens up and underneath is 1 pocket with a snap flap, and 3 open pockets of differing sizes. There is a leather pen holder also. This is sewn onto a large leather piece that has the R”Roots” logo stamped on it and a zipper across the top. The zipper opens to black canvas lined pocket. This backs up to a large pocket behind it that has the “Roots” fabric tag on it. There is one very large pocket for a laptop or other such large sized items. The top has a heavy duty handle for carrying. The bag has minimal wear and is intended to have a distressed look to it. There is one stain on the bottom that I have taken photos for you to see. The bag is about 16 inches long and 11 inches high and can go about 8 inches deep. The suede on the underside of the front flap had red marker marks on it - I have taken photos for you to see. These are from the pens that would have been in the pen holder. Other than that, I find no other big damage. No holes, tears, stains or open seams. The leather has no bad odors or scents.
