Another rare Mr. Beer and Watch vintage timepiece. Gorgeous Elgin art deco watch with a 7 jewel mechanical stem set 3/0 size grade 462 movement from 1928. The cushion shaped case is in excellent vintage condition with the original crown. This watch has a rare light blue and gold "fancy dial" with blued steel hour, minute and second hand. It is fitted with a new crystal in excellent condition with a new genuine leather, butterfly clasp band. This watch was completely disassembled, inspected, cleaned, oiled with Moebius synthetic oils, reassembled, timed and is running very well and keeping excellent time. Overall an excellent example of an early Elgin wrist watch with a rare dial in a nearly flawless original case.
