Here's an authentic 1990 - 1991 Temple University Owls men's basketball media guide featuring All-America guard Mark Macon and Hall of Fame coach John Chaney.

The Owls finished 24-10 in the '90-'91 season, runners-up in the Atlantic 10 to Rutgers. The Owls were an at-large entry in March Madness and advanced all the way to the Elite Eight before losing to North Carolina, 75-72. Mark Macon averaged a team-leading 22.4 points per game for Temple, but, as usual, it was Coach Chaney's suffocating match-up zone that was the team's hallmark. You'll find photos and bios of all the players and coaches in the guide.

Prepared by Temple's sports information staff for boosters, recruits and reporters covering the team, the 88-page guide includes everything you need to know about Owls basketball. There's information on Coach Chaney and his staff as well as photos and profiles of the all the players. You'll also find a records and history section and previews of Temple's opponents. It's a terrific snapshot of college basketball when the Cherry and the White were a national force!

The guide as the scans show is in very strong condition for its age - see the statement above - and will be a terrific gift for college hoop fans and for any Temple alum.
