Refurbished 1941 Sears Silvertone Model 7039 Tombstone Style Table Radio with push button mechanical tuning and PHONO input. It has 9 tubes and 3 bands (Broadcast, Police and Shortwave) with a Bandspread. It has an auxiliary RCA phono input jack. It has been refurbished inside and outside. The cabinet has been sanded, re-stained and several coats of clear gloss poly have been applied. All paper capacitors, electrolytics, some out-of-tolerance resistors have been replaced. Some of the bad wiring has been replaced. The tuning cap has been cleaned and lubricated. The chassis has been cleaned and refinished. All knobs and push buttons were polished and sealed. The dial bezel has been cleaned and polished. Four tubes have been replaced. Cabinet stickers and chassis labels are reproductions. The back cover and internal loop antenna are handmade reproductions. A new polarized power cord and chassis mounted fuse has also been added. The LO and HI BOOST have been modified for enhanced tonal quality. The speaker is a large 7”x9” size and is original. The speaker grille cloth is new. It has undergone an alignment on all bands. This item will come with a full schematic, alignment instructions, and tube data. It will also include a DVD containing links to videos on using and configuring external longwire antennas. This item measures: 18"W x 10"D x 17"H and weighs 26 lbs net.
