I found this crystal in a small gift shop, where it was displayed as one of a kind, not labeled as to what it is. My colleagues think it's lodolite quartz (aka garden quartz). It could be that, but I think it could also be amphibole quartz. With a small specimen containing a small amount of inclusions like this one, it can be difficult to positively identify it. It apparently was cut into this shape, though the point almost looks natural, so again, I'm not sure exactly what we have here. But it's a little beauty!
