This is a very unique Vintage Bronze/Metal Alloy Candle lantern which is created with Soldered Construction and has an unusual dot lighting pattern that reflects and illuminates spots.  The piece looks like a Ladybug!  The Bronze soldering is visible throughout the whole piece, and it is clearly hand assembled.  The two outer "ANTENNAE" squeeze and lift up to reveal a holder for a candle to be lit and then lowered back into the vessel.  

The piece measures approximately 9.5" high by 7" wide by 5.5" depth.

The lantern is in good vintage condition with some small minor dents and wear associated with items of this age.  It only adds to its character.  The piece is kind of cute. 

It would display well as an art piece displayed on a shelf or desk.
