A superb high-grade vintage Eterna-Matic 3000 Sevenday day/date calendar watch housed in a beautiful, two-tone unpolished solid 14k gold "cap" case with original beads of rice bracelet, stunning factory printed champagne dial and ultra-thin caliber 1501 automatic movement ticking along within and keeping great time! This vintage 1960's Eterna is in superb all original condition throughout and looks stunning on the wrist with a very thin profile case measuring only 9mm thick including the domed original crystal. The case measures 35mm in diameter excluding the original signed crown and has a very thick layer of solid gold soldered to the stainless steel body. I hope my pictures show just how nice and thick this layer of gold is, much more durable then any gold plate or gold filled cases. It still has its original brushed finished, never polished and is fitted with a fantastic beads of rice style gold caped, Eterna signed bracelet that at its current length will fit a 6 1/2 inch wrist. A clasp extender would be an option if you have larger wrist then this. The original factory printed dial is in superb condition as well, fully signed Eterna-Matic, 3000, Sevenday, T Swiss T with day and date aperture at 3 o'clock. Nice original baton style hands to match. The original crystal is clear to the naked eye, but does have some surface crazing which is visible in certain lights. The stainless steel back is also fully signed inside Eterna Watch Co, Swiss, Acier Inoxydable with the model number 306 DT. The movement within is one of those things Eterna is very well known and regarded for, their thin automatic calibers. This caliber 1501 is very high-grade with 21 jewels amd a remarkably low profile design. It is running very nicely with smooth action on the oscillating rotor, and has kept reasonably good time for me over the last couple of days wearing it, but as I have not had a service performed it must be sold as is with not timekeeping warranty. A service is recommended for reliable timekeeping. A truly beautiful vintage 1960's Eterna dress watch of superb quality and gorgeous design!! Don't miss it!
